[10/3/00] Ok, believe it or not I'm a male and I asked for directions. Let me give you a little background on that. I manage on a regular basis to let things "run out"...such as the safety inspection on the car, my license plate, etc.Being reminded
(nicely I might add!) by "the wife" that my current driver's license had expired in July, she also told me that there was a DMV office on Hwy 42 "near the Century 21 office and the Neighborhood Academy of Music." I was skeptical, since I drive that route often and I don't remember seeing anything in that area. However, I started out one morning and headed down Hwy 42 and didn't see anything that resembled a DMV office. "Nope! Not one there" I declared. "I rode down there and checked." A day or so later
"the wife" told me (nicely again, I might add!) that "Yes, there was a DMV office there...the sign is a small one that has you wind down a side road and to the back of the building." So this time I asked for directions and...yes..there was a sign on the side road and...yes...there is a DMV office on Hwy 42. (As a matter of fact, it is 4.5 miles from Lowe's at the 40/42 intersection.) I now have my new license
(they had me in and out in a short time..thanks!), am starting to learn that asking for directions isn't so bad after all (sorry guys!) and still believe that they need a sign in front of that building!!!! Excuse me now...I need to finish my dusting and load the dishwasher. --Webmaster Did you see our previous
