are becoming the trademark of the Coffee Mill and you'll be doing yourself a favor to drop by and check them out. Kick back and meet some friends...it's a neighborhood kinda thang.Primed for the evening, we headed over to Hwy 70 and found a slot in the parking lot in front of
McKinley's. Making our way inside we ask for a table in front of the band and settle down as No Dice rolled out their first set.
Have you ever watched somebody work that *REALLY* enjoys what they do? That's how No Dice comes across...these guys are tight, sound great and have a good time doing it! Covering classic songs from Lynard Skynard, The Rolling Stones, James Gang, Bob Seger, Deep Purple and others, they turned
McKinley's into a party before the evening was over. More than once they broke from their song list to jump spontaneously into a request shouted from the crowd (Yes...we *all* joined in on "Play That Funky Music!").
This is the second time we caught their act and you can bet we are watching for the next time they appear locally. If you'd like a great evening
of "DANG! That sounds just like the original song!" entertainment, plan to see No Dice. They roll a seven every time.
Warning: Following seeing No Dice we have found ourselves going home and pulling out those 33 1/3 rpm vinyl disks (ever explain to your kids what "albums" are?), trying some air guitar moves and humming the opening riffs of "Smoke on the Water." This could happen to you also. You've been warned.
