KIDS CARE PEDIATRICS will be soon opening at the 40/42 intersection.  Stephenson General Contractors and KIDS CARE PEDIATRICS held a Ground Breaking Ceremony recently to start the process.  Construction for this new medical facility is slated to be completed in November of this year. 

KIDS CARE PEDIATRICS (formerly Smithfield's Kids Care) opened their first location in Smithfield in August of 1997 recently changing their name to KIDS CARE PEDIATRICS.  This will be their second location.  Dr. Pennie Bliss, Dr. Debra Tetreault and Dr. Lisa Parker will soon be providing pediatric care to our area.

Members of the Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce and Senator Allen Wellons and Clerk of Court Will Crocker were on hand to celebrate the occasion.  KIDS CARE PEDIATRICS will be located beside Carolina Tire on Mast Drive.

JBC's American Karate has opened their doors in Swift Creek Plaza at 40/42 (Food Lion shopping center).  Offering Marital Arts training to adults as well as children.  Their adult programs emphasize self-defense and fitness.  With over 10 years in Martial Arts training, the lead instructor is James Brandon (Brad) Creech.

You can ship packages again at 40/42!  Mail Call is open and operating  From copies to faxes and packing/shipping, it's great to have the service available again (Mail Boxes Etc. had been in operation in this location, but had closed down without warning several months back). 

Mail Call is open Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

New, automated checkouts now available at the 40/42 Food Lion!  We stopped by to take a look and they are obviously being well accepted by customers.  Three of the existing checkouts have been automated, allowing shoppers to quickly scan and pay for their purchases.  Have you had a chance to use the new "do-it-yourself" checkouts?  Let us know about your experience in the Discussion Group!
