It's a new year and we let the 4042.com Web Dog out to bring back the latest info on what is happening in our area.  Lots of new openings...we've got the details below!

Neighborhood Academy of Music is moving right along.  It looks like their building, located on Hwy 42 on the way to Clayton, is nearing completion.  Visit their website for information on their musical program offerings.

Shaikh Medical Clinic officially opened December 11^th.  Shaikh Medical Clinic is accepting new patients as well as walk in patients in their new offices at 171 Mast Dr (at 40/42 behind the Hampton Inn).  The facility is opened on Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 to 3:00.  Call 771-0503 to schedule that New Year physical today!

Medicap Pharmacy, located on Glen Rd , just in front of Shaikh Medical, is now open for business.  Many of you may remember Lance Wheeler serving you at CVS.  Well, plan to stop by or drive through to say hello to Lance and try out the newest pharmacy in our area!

Attorney at Law, Johnson Tilghman and Commercial Design Construction have moved into their new location in Cleveland Square.  Commercial Design is handling the development of the American CONEC Industrial Park, as well as the new Johnston Family Care Center at Exit 319.

Salon 42 opened their doors on January 2^nd, 2001.  The newest hair salon to the area is opened Monday through Thursday 10;00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Stop by, get a hair cut and tell 'em 4042.com sent ya!!

You no longer have to drive to Garner or Smithfield to make donations of clothing and household items.  The new Goodwill store is open in Clayton from 9am to 6pm.  To make a donation, stop by the store on Regency Park Drive (next to the State Employees Credit Union) or call 359-0492.  (Note: New Life In Christ Thrift Store and Helping Hand Mission, both on Main Street in Clayton also welcome your donations.)
