Entertainment in the 40/42 Future According to sources close to the negotiations, the area to be developed at 40/42 behind the Remax offices promises to house some heavy hitters!Although not formerly announced, the Web Dog has been sniffing around and has learned that the new
development will likely be home to a Circuit City, Belk
, The Home Depot, and a
twelve-screen cinema!In the same area, a 300 unit apartment complex is expected to be developed. And of course, there is still the expectation that a Walmart
will locate in the area behind Remax, or possibly behind Lowes. Even more!
Dun-Rite Signs has newly opened in the 40/42 area, owned and operated by local resident Bill Glassford. In
addition to four color processing and thermal graphics, he can offer his customers the luxury of ordering over the Internet or by faxSome of the new features offered are signs with photos on them, business card magnets and decals in small quantities. A new kennel club
has been formed for Johnston County. They will be promoting responsible dog ownership in the county, as well as hosting fun matches and educational forums. On 8/27/00 at Clayton Municipal Park the Kennel Club will have the 1st annual JCKC Fun Match. Hours for the match are 2:30-3:30 registration, 3:30-6:00 Match.
