Frank and Leslie Barranco, owners of the downtown Clayton restaurant Main Steak Bistro & Wine Shop, have quite a place to show off.  Steaks are their specialty, but the menu also includes chicken, pork, seafood and more, including a full service bar.  Over 25 "hard to find" specialty wines can be found at Main Steak, along with gourmet snacks, and giftware.   Executive chef Mario Alipio, formally of Portobello's in Raleigh, has "made from scratch desserts" to top off your meal.  Just reading the menu makes my mouth water!

Speaking from experience, the atmosphere is wonderful.  It was really nice to have a relaxing lunch, while enjoying such fabulous food.  Their prices and portions are very good.  Our service was also great, which made our dining experience even better.  Stop in soon, ask for Terry or Tom, and enjoy!

Open for lunch on Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.  With a formal flair, dinner is served Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 10:00, Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Sunday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  They are closed on Mondays.
