"I think it needs to be called Cleveland. It's been known as Cleveland for so long why change it now. The other names really don't fit. They are dumb names."
---------------------------"i think that brandonville would be a good name because there are alote of Brandons in this town and b/c that name isn't all
ready taken."
---------------------------
"Sure, 4042 would be different. Goes right along wth Exit 312. After all, getting off at exit 312 is half of getting here! And there's two different websites with those names. It would make remembering the website or the town easier.
I do believe we should be creative in naming the community. I've been waiting for this opportunit to cast my opinion. What about "The Other Cleveland"?
"Cleveland Rocks" - now that is a fun
name. Our addresseswould be "Cleveland Rocks North Carolina".
The name Cleveland is part of this community's long time identity, but lets not limit ourselves to using the name. Let's get creative and come up with something meaningful, fun, and noteworthy."

"well, i have lived here all my life and i think that one of the old names that cleveland were called would make good names, like polenta, tombstone or leachburg."
---------------------------
"I have lived here for 32 years and i think that Old Cleveland or Cleveland Scholl are good names, b/c both names give us acknowledgement in the old school."
---------------------------
"I think New Cleveland is a good name because it's been always known as Cleveland. So new Cleveland is a good name. the other names aren't good names"
---------------------------
"Cleveland is a "community" just like
meadow...meadow is known as a town and so is cleveland. Cleveland has been considered "cleveland" forever and i see no sense in changing it now! ~*~thank you~*~"
---------------------------"I really really think that this town should be called Joe Springs! I want to see this posted so I can see if anyone agrees with me! Thanks a lot! Atlanta would be really good also!
---------------------------
"ok, lets just name the dang town and get the arguing over with. anything with "cleveland" in it would be fine, lets unite as a town and not seperate about a dumb issue like our name."
---------------------------
"I like the name New Cleveland. I have lived here my entire life, my parents before me. I like keeping the name Cleveland for the identity and the "New" because 1. We would be the New Cleveland and 2. Let's give the new citizens and businesses part of the name. Like it or not we are new. Lets get on with it, get incorporated and make a cooperative, positive growth we can all be proud of, a safe and healthy enviroment for ourselves, and our future citizens."
---------------------------
"Soon 4042 will be the "City" in Cleveland. So I thought maybe it should be "Cleveland City"
---------------------------
"I like the idea of Cleveland School since that is the name the area has been known as. It needs to be incorporated and have its own zip code, since it currently has a Garner zip code, and Garner is in Wake county, while it is in Johnston County."
---------------------------
"I personally believe it should be called Cleveland School. That's where we live, right? Atleast, that's what I've called it since I was little, and I've lived here 20 years. Thanks."
---------------------------
"Changing the name and postal access for the area is ludicrous. This is the name of an area - not an actual town. I think this issue is unnecessary, a waste of time, and being used by the proponents to further their own self serving agendas"
---------------------------
"I think the name should be "4042" just for notoriety. notice that the name is numerical and not spelled out. i think that this would create interest in our area."
---------------------------
"The poll does not allow for either "none of the above"
OR
a recommended name from readers -- truly democratic survey would and the so-called movers and shakers might find other alternatives than Cleveland Anything
This
area has exploded at the end of one and the beginning of a new MILLENNIUM, NORTH CAROLINA for what it's worth, my 2 cents..."
