With a crowd of almost 200 gathered at the Mcgees Crossroads elementary school on Mother's Day, the concert began with songs performed by local resident Amy Stephenson.
A brief video presentation followed next to provide information about Angelman Syndrome (excess proceeds from the concert were to go to support the Angelman Syndrome Foundation).
The Dove Award winning trio Selah then took the stage and immediately engaged the audience with their vocal talent and message.
The Selah concert was presented by Crossroads Bible Church. They currently meet on Sunday from 10am to 12pm at the McGees Crossroads Elementary School. Everyone is welcome to come and visit.
They also have nursery care and a learning center program for children. If anyone would like more information on the church, they can call Tim Bunn (pastor) at the church office 919-639-4600 or email him at: TBunn27592@aol.com. |
