{mosimage}The Strawberry Festival Committee has been hard at work and plans are coming along very well for our 9th Annual Strawberry Festival on April 26, 2008. This years Festival will feature: a Classic Cars Show, the Fire Department Smoke House, new games for the children along with WPYB Radio Station Broadcasting live all day.

West Johnston High School Band will help with the opening Ceremonies starting at 9:30am and will perform live on stage from 9am until 11am. We have entertainment lined up all day. Tim Hair (Tim McGraw Impersonator) will be on the stage from 3:30pm - 5:00pm. All the Berry Baby Entries will be on display by the stage this year. This years voting will be computerized courtesy of Centuron Systems. Voting will conclude at 3:00pm so that Tim Hair can announce the winners of the contest before the concert.
