Clayton Fear Farm, owned by Glenn Boyette opened their doors in 2002, after Glenn decided to venture into the agritourism business. The Clayton Fear Farm is located at 1620 Loop Road, Clayton and consists of 7 attractions including three haunted houses, corn maze (not haunted), an outdoor  maze, a spinning vortex, and a hayride. The attractions are altered every year, which provides a new scare!

Once Halloween is over, the Fear Farm turns into Lights on the Neuse, a family fun hayride. The ride  is about 45 minutes long with various scenes, lights and music that offers a river front view. The Lights on the Neuse candy shop is filled with old time Christmas candy and hot cocoa.
