A local Relay for Life team is hosting BUNCO MANIA on April 5th to help support the American Cancer Society. The local team, lead by Christine Goldner and Lisa Emerson of Sweet Carolina Gourmet, is striving to raise $3000 to go toward the fight for cancer.  "We are very excited about this opportunity to raise awareness and money," said Christine Goldner, team leader. All participating cancer survivors will be recognized at the BUNCO MANIA event.

Never heard of Bunco? Bunco is a game of dice, played in rounds. Players take turns rolling the dice and trying to accumulate as many points as possible to win each round. Participants in BUNCO MANIA will play two rounds. All winners will be presented prizes. Don't worry, there are even more chances to win! Bunco Maniacs will also be able to participate in RAFFLE MANIA. Approximately, $1000 worth of prizes, including a Premier Tower filled with Sweet Carolina Gourmet’s delicious cookies and chocolate will be available to win. Raffle tickets will be 1 ticket for $1 or 6 tickets for $5 and they will be purchased the night of the event.  Gourmet treats and other refreshments will be on hand for your enjoyment the evening of the event! You don't want to miss out on the fun!
 
Ready to roll the dice and beat the odds for cancer? Registration is already underway and will be open until March 31st.  Pre-registration is required and play will be limited to 100 players.  No experience is necessary to play.
 
BUNCO MANIA will be held on April 5th at The Kids Clubhouse; located at 63-104 Anna Drive just off Highway 42. Doors will open at 5:45pm and game play will start promptly at 6:30pm. A $10 donation is required to play, and can be mailed to Sweet Carolina Gourmet, 41 C Technology Drive, Garner, NC 27529. Please make all checks payable to: American Cancer Society.
