The June 27th meeting of Crossroads Civitan filled the room at Michael's Steak and Seafood as the young civic club continues to grow. 

Meeting each Tuesday until the club is fully chartered (which requires 25 initial members..they are very near reaching this goal), the program has included a great meal and a speaker, plus planning for upcoming club events.

Robert Liles from the 40/42 RE/MAX office provided information to those attending concerning the rate of residental and business development in our area.  According to Liles, there are approximately 1,000 homes currently on the market and 3-6 businesses are locating in our community each month.  This growth will continued to be fueled by the development of 120 acres of commercial land, located behind Wendy's on Hwy 42.

Upcoming Civitan events include:

July 4th - A booth at the Celebrate Cleveland festivites.  Will include a dunking booth, raffle tickets on some great prizes and refreshments.

July 11th - Next regular club meeting.  Come join us...bring a friend, enjoy the fellowship and meet your neighbors!  Meeting will be held at the Hampton Inn at the 40/42 intersection, behind McDonalds.  See you at 7pm!

August 14th - The Crossroads Civitan club will be sponsoring the Red Cross Blood Drive at the Oakland Presbyterian Church.  Mark your calendar now!
