The Crossroads Civitans
Continue to Grow

A local 4042.com feature

The Cleveland area Civitans, now officially named the Crossroads Civitans, continue to meet each Tuesday evening during their formation period.

Meeting at 7pm for an hour, interim officers have been selected and there is a program each evening.  Featured speakers, such as Lonnie Hedrick of Edward Jones, provide those attending with information on a variety of subjects, from the Internet to investements.

Also attending recent meetings are officials from the Civitan organization, providing support and encouragement as the local chapter comes together.
In particular,  Wood Middleton, President-Elect of the Raleigh Civitan Club and  Roger Honeycutt, club Secretary have been present each week to help guide the process.(The Raleigh club is sponsoring the charter effort in the Cleveland area.)

To charter a new club requires 25 initial members and meetings will be held weekly to move toward this goal.  Those interested in joining the Crossroads Civitan club are encouraged to attend the next meeting and bring a friend.
