Mothers Unlimited, a support network for families, will hold a reverse raffle night to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Johnston County. The evening is sponsored by Alltel of Clayton and will take place on Friday, April 11, from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Wagner House in downtown Clayton.
This exciting event will feature numerous raffle boards where participants can buy chances to win fabulous prize packages for golfing, dining out, sporting events and other entertainment. In a reverse raffle, suspense builds as numbers are drawn and called until only the winner is left standing.
There will also be multiple opportunities to win cash. At the cash prize boards, participants will be eliminated down to the last four contestants, who will negotiate whether to stop there and split the money or keep going all the way to one final lucky player.
Each ticket to the event includes entry in drawings for door prizes plus the $1,000 grand prize, heavy hors d'oeuvres, entertainment and five hours of childcare at Screamin' Mimi's Kids Place. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online at www.MothersUnlimited.com or by calling Barbie Tew at (919) 320-5099.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Johnston County, which promotes home ownership with volunteers building houses in partnership with those in need of adequate housing. The nonprofit organization raises all funds locally and has touched the lives of hundreds in the area.
The event is sponsored by Alltel of Clayton, Screamin' Mimi’s Kid's Place, The Clayton News-Star, Premier Athletics and Kids 'R' Kids.
