{mosimage}University Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is owned and operated by Richard J. Alioto, MD and Mark Moriarty, MD.  They have two locations to serve you. One is located Smithfield at Johnston Memorial Hospital and the other is in Clayton at The Summit Medical Center.  Their hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

They provide complete care of the musculoskeletal system.  They perform orthopaedic procedures including joint replacement, join reconstruction, arthroscopy, rotate cuff surgery, fracture care, carpal tunnel syndrome and other joint disorders.  They have been providing Sports Medicine coverage for the County High Schools for 10 years.
