Help West Johnston High School Students Attend National Competition!

HOSA (which stands for Health Occupation Students of America) is a student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.  We participate in American Red Cross Blood Drives; raise money for the American Cancer Society; and students are involved in competition at the Regional, State, and National Level.  Our club allows students interested in a career in the health care field to see first hand what they will experience in the future.

West Johnston High School has a Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club that focuses on leadership, health care career skills, and community outreach. Each year, the students attend a state leadership conference and competition and this year 9 students from WJHS qualified and were invited to attend the National competition in Anaheim, CA.

Transportation and Airfare for this trip will cost each student approximately $1000 each. This does not include meals or spending money. The students are working dilligently to fundraise and any support that you can offer would be appreciated.

If you make a donation through the website and would like a tax receipt, please include your name and address in the payment, and we will ensure that you receive one.

Thank you for your support!
